Malaysian Open badminton tournament: fifth day

 June 27, 2009  - It took Lee Chong Wei only 20 minutes to secure his rightful spot in the men's final, set for tomorrow.  He handily won 21-9, 21-8 against Hong Kong's Yun Hu.  In the other men's semi-final Long Chen beat Malaysian Choong Han Wong 21-10, 21-16.

 June 18, 2009 - In second round men's singles action at the Singapore Open at the Istaro Bung Karno gymnasium, it was Lee Chong Wei defeating Hafiz Hashim 21-7, 19-21,21-7.  Peter Hoeg Gade lost the first set, but came back to beat Tien Minh Nyguen of Vietnam 13-21,21-19,21-14.  Sony Dwi Kuncoro easily handled Choong Han Wong 21-8, 21-12 in just 32 minutes.  Jin Chen advanc
