Scoring at Badminton
To win a badminton match a team or player must win two out of three sets, unless otherwise agreed, the set is won by the first reaching 21 points. A point is won when the opposite team or player commits a fault or the volley ends when the birdie lands inside the opponents courts. If the score reaches 20-20, the player or team must make a 2 point lead to win. If the set reaches 29-29, the player or team to reach 30 points wins the set. Whichever player or team to win the set begins serving in the next set.
